You will be required to complete mini 1 hour homework assignments each week, which may include: self practice, sequence planning, researching and presenting, or essay writing.

At the end of the course a final teaching assessment will be conducted with review and feedback given.

Meditation - Experience core meditation practices from Yoga and Eastern traditions to invoke a deeper understanding of the mind and subtle body
Pranayama - Experience breathing techniques to control the vital life force energy
Kriya - Experience the yogic cleansing and purification techniques
Anatomy & physiology - See the human anatomy before your very eyes, experience practically how it 
functions in Yoga and develop an informed understanding of anatomically safe practice and teaching.
Delivered by our in house Yogi Doctor with 11 years of experience in the medical field.
Breath and Bandha - Learn the physical and functional energetic anatomy, technique and applications
The art of Vinyasa - Experience what it really means to flow with breath
The art of Yin- Experience what it really means to surrender and let go
Safe technique - Learn safe alignment, joint movements and muscles engagement in postures
Optimize technique - Learn how to ground, stabilize and engage energetically in postures
Modifications and variations - Learn the options to soften and deepen Vinyasa and Yin postures
Language and communication - Learn how to increase a student’s awareness of their alignment 
and body, through presence and verbal direction
Adjustments - Learn safe and effective, hands on touch assists and adjustments to guide students 
deeper into their practice safely
Sequencing and class planning - Master posture flow and applying themes 
to deliver beautifully balanced yoga practices
Teaching Practicum - Practice class delivery and demonstration from week one, 
with peer and senior review and live feedback and video playback throughout the course

The history of Yoga - Trace the lineage of yoga right back to the earliest roots 
and come to know the true essence of the practice
Yoga Philosophy - Study of core yoga philosophy

Yogic values, psychology and ethics - How to be a good teacher. Reflective workshops and discussions
